Visit our original location in Koreatown! Continental Bakery is a family owned and operated bakery founded in 1994.
We strive to provide our Los Angeles community with the traditional flavors of El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico with our handmade breads, pastries and food. All our bread is baked fresh daily, using high quality ingredients and traditional recipes. Our specialty pan dulce is the Salvadoran quesadilla, a great mix of sweet and savory flavors. Try our other popular pan dulces like conchas, orejas, or gusanos.
Want a hot beverage to accompany your sweet bread? We offer coffee, lattes, tea, hot chocolate and avena de arroz.
Need to cool down? We serve aguas frescas including horchata, jamaica and agua de piña. Try our Salvadoran-fusion horchata con espresso for a caffeine kick!
Hungry? We make traditional Salvadoran cuisine including pupusas, tamales, pan con pollo and sopa de gallina. We also have Mexican food like burritos, carne asada, and tortas made with our freshly baked bread.
Try our delicious rotisserie chicken, available only at this location! Our whole chicken meal comes with two sides and handmade tortillas or bolillo. We also offer 1/2 chicken and 1/4 chicken meals, or you can buy the chicken à la carte.
Celebrate your special event with one of our cakes! We make tres leches cakes with fruit filling. We also offer flavors like chocolate, strawberry and coffee. We can customize your cake as desired—add a photo, another tier, or decorations.
